Durban is the main city in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, and offers a rich variety of attractions to ensure than no matter what your interests are, you are well catered for on a visit to Durban.
Durban's chaotic mixture of cultures is soon obvious as you wander through the streets, Hindu temples stand beside Victorian edifices, and in the central business district, the modern skyscrapers that reflect the largest mosque in the southern hemisphere.
The main attraction in Durban is undoubtedly the beach, a glorious strand of golden sand beaches that stretch for miles along the coast, and offer excellent surfing as well as warm sunshine throughout most of the year.
